Group Assessments

For group leaders

Leader Assessment

Score your group 1–4 on each value, right now — not where you hope it'll be. Fill this out once as a Baseline (after your first 2–3 real meetings) and once as an End of Season check, before the group's meeting window ends.

When are you filling this out?

Score your group, 1–4

What each level means — refer back here as you go:

1
Emerging

Present in name, but not yet a consistent practice.

2
Developing

Happening with some regularity, still taking root.

3
Thriving

A strong, consistent pattern that's clearly bearing fruit.

4
Multiplying

Members are being equipped to carry this forward in others, not just practicing it themselves.

Abide in Prayer

Is prayer real and shared in this group — not just an opener, but something members do for each other between meetings?

Give Generously

Is the group generous with time, gifts, and finances — caring for needs inside the group and beyond it?

Live in Community

Do members do life together outside of meetings — real relationships, not just attendance?

Seek the Kingdom

Is the group's focus outward as well as inward — serving, reaching, and praying for people far from God?

Walk in the Word

Is Scripture actually shaping the group — studied, discussed, and applied, not just referenced?

Leadership Development (you)

Where are you, personally, as a leader — growing in these values yourself, and raising up who's next?

Discipleship Development (your members)

Are members individually growing — able to name a step of growth, or starting to disciple someone else?

The number alone won't explain what changed. A sentence or two here is what makes it useful later.

For group members

Member Pulse

A quick, honest check-in on your own growth this season — not how your group is doing, but how you are doing. Your name is optional; leave it blank if you'd rather answer anonymously.

When are you filling this out?

How are you growing, 1–4

What each number means — refer back here as you go:

1
Not really

Not something you're currently doing or experiencing.

2
A little

You've started, but it's not yet a steady habit.

3
Noticeably

You can point to real, consistent growth here this season.

4
Part of my life

This is now just how you live — a settled part of who you are.

Abide in Prayer

Do you have a real, ongoing prayer life — not just at group, but on your own?

Give Generously

Are you growing in generosity — with your time, your gifts, or your finances?

Live in Community

Do you have people who know what's really going on in your life — not just faces you see weekly?

Seek the Kingdom

Have you served, given, or invited someone toward faith or the church beyond your own group?

Walk in the Word

Do you have a personal habit of reading and applying Scripture — not just hearing it at group?

In your own words — this is often the most useful answer on the whole form.
